By: Robin Davis
Here I was, beginning to write a paper titled "here's to me", when a Captain walked into the library. Then an awkward moment took place. I was so intune to writing this new blog that I failed to recognize the officer as she was beginning to pass by. It took me nearly three seconds for my brain to register that the insignia, she was wearing was that of an officer. I briefly glanced up to sound off a formal greeting that mustered out in the form of a murmur.

By: Robin Davis
March 27th, 2010; I was departing Oklahoma City en route to my Advance Individual Training (AIT) in Ft. Meade, Maryland. Along the way I was introduced to Chicago and quickly had a glimspe of Baltimore before I was whisked away in that yellow cab toward my final destination. My initial impression of Maryland: Trees, lots of them, and all different colors. As being a resident from Alaska I showed my appreciation toward seeing an actual forest rather then the collection of assorted trees,...read more
