By: Ronald Tuczak
I have been back at Fort Bragg for some time following 2 1/2 years growing our Army in the Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey area. It is great being back in Special Forces and back at mighty Fort Bragg. So much has changed in the 4 years that have past since I was last assigned here!
The Army is clearly investing in FT Bragg as they have new barracks everywhere, FORSCOM 4 Star HQs being built, and plenty of Soldiers. I went to Camp Mackall where they train our Special...read more

By: Ronald Tuczak
Greetings All! Hello again from Mid Atlantic U.S.A.

As mentioned before, I have been in the Army for over 26 years and for nearly the last two years I have been away from the flagpole in Army Recruiting. It has been a very exciting, memorable, and rewarding time. One unique aspect of this experience was that, for the first time in my lengthy career, I truly did not live on or near a major Army installation. Not to degrade FT Dix, FT Monmouth or Picitinny Arsenal, New Jersey but, they just...read more

By: Ronald Tuczak
I had a truly amazing experience about a month ago. As the Guest Speaker at the Fort Monmouth Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Luncheon I was working feverishly to ensure I did not put to sleep my audience. We were chanting Army Strong, watching videos and sharing some interesting Recruiting Stories. Yes, even in Recruiting we have our “War Stories”. You actually run into some fascinating people who either are interesting based on their life’s work or the...read more

By: Ronald Tuczak
Greetings all! I am Ron Tuczak and have been a Soldier in our great Army for over 26 years! Currently, I command the U.S. Army Mid Atlantic Recruiting Battalion growing our Army in New Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia Area.

I enlisted in the Army while still in High School in Livonia, Michigan in 1983. We were going through a recession as well and I wanted to chart my own life. I joined for college money and my signing bonus was $5! (My mom gave me money for a “snack”...read more
