Our website may provide Registered and Non-Registered Users with an opportunity to submit, provide, transmit, share and/or display Content to us and/or to other users (referred to as a “Story” or “Story Submission” “Blog Post” or “Posting”). Posting includes not just Content in the form of files or material you upload as Story Submissions or a Blog Post, but also any messages or information you may send in the form of comments and information you may post about yourself. You should understand we intend the terms “Post” and “Posting” and any variations of these words to be interpreted broadly when we use the term “Content”. You agree you will not Post Content that is subject to any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property protections or proprietary rights, including any rights of confidentiality, privacy or publicity, unless you are the owner of such rights or a licensee or authorized agent with permission from the owner to make such Post. Each time you Post, you are representing to us that the Content you Post is in compliance with our Terms of Use and is not in violation of any laws or regulations. You have no right to require and we have no obligation to pay any fees, charges or royalties for our use or exploitation of your Post and we reserve the right to delete your Posting at our discretion.

Blog Content on this site is post-moderated, meaning we don’t screen user generated Blog Posts or Postings until after it’s published to the site. However, we reserve the right to remove content at any time, at our discretion.

Other submitted Content on this site (“Story” or “Story Submission”) is screened prior to being published and we reserve the right not to publish content at any time, at our discretion.

STORY SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Your video Story Submission cannot exceed three (3) minutes in length and must be in .AVI, .MOV, .WMV or .MP4 format. Your written Story Submission cannot exceed 1,500 characters (including spaces) and are limited up to four (4) image files.

Story Submissions and Blog Postings may not contain, in its sole discretion, any content that:
(A) contains copyrighted materials owned by others (including music, videos, photographs, sculptures, paintings, and other works of art or images published on or in websites, television, movies or other media);
(B) contains trademarks, logos, or trade dress (such as distinctive packaging or building exteriors/interiors) owned by others; advertises or promotes any brand or product of any kind; contains any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, e-mail addresses or street addresses;
(C) communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or good will to which we wish to associate;
(D) defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about people, products or companies;
(E) is sexually explicit or suggestive; unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; profane or pornographic; contains nudity;
(F) contains materials embodying the names, likenesses, voices, or other indicia identifying any person, including, without limitation, celebrities and/or other public or private figures, living or dead;
(G) contains look-alikes of celebrities or other public or private figures, living or dead;
(H) promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing); promotes any particular political agenda or message;
(I) is obscene or offensive; endorses any form of hate or hate group; appears to duplicate any other submitted photographs; and/or
(J) violates any law.

Your Story Submission/Blog Post must be Your original content. You may not submit a Story Submission/Blog Post in which any person other than Yourself owns any rights or interests. In furtherance, but without limiting the foregoing, Your Story Submission/Blog Post must not contain any elements that would violate third party rights if used for any purpose, including, without limitation, in any commercial broadcast, even if You can obtain the right to use those materials by license, permit, consent, or otherwise.

REGISTERING FOR OUR WEBSITE
In order to submit a Story or Blog Post on our website, you will need to complete a registration process. You will be required to provide us with certain information about you during the registration process that will enable us to give you access to a user profile. Your email address will automatically become your user name. You will also be required to choose a password (or we may assign an initial password, which we will give you the option to change after you register). Once we confirm we have received all the information required for registration we will confirm that you have become a “Registered User” of ArmyStrongStories.com that will allow you to login using your unique user name and password combination which we will refer to as your User ID.

Unless we indicate otherwise during the registration process, you must be at least 13 years old to submit story content to our website. If you are at least 13 years old, but you are not yet considered an adult where you live (generally age 18) you can only enroll and become a Registered User if you get consent from your parent or legal guardian (“parent”). If you are under 13 you may not register for a User ID and/or submit content without obtaining verifiable consent from your parent or legal guardian in advance (see our Privacy Policy).

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
While we encourage you to participate on our website, we recommend you take caution and exercise discretion if you choose to Post or share Personal Information and do so at your own risk. We expect you to be honest and accurate when posting so as to avoid posting false or misleading information, whether expressly, by implication or omission of information that may result in content that is not represented in full context.

Your User ID is personal and you are responsible and liable for the use of your User ID by you or anyone else. This includes, without limitation, anything and everything that can be connected to, associated with or traced to your User ID. You agree to immediately notify us if you become aware or believe there is or may have been any unauthorized use of your user name or password or any other need to deactivate your User ID due to security concerns.

OWNERSHIP AND OTHER RIGHTS
Website “Content” includes, to the extent applicable: (1) any information and material, including the Story Submission or Blog Post submitted by You; (2) the Story Submission registration form and any other forms, documentation required to be submitted by You to the website; (3) Your name, voice, likeness, image and biographical data; and (4) all photographs, video or audio recordings, audiovisual recordings or other audiovisual materials, writings, statements, dramatic materials, ideas, quotations and any other intellectual properties of or by You (whether created by You, Sponsor or a designee of Sponsor) and/or furnished to the Sponsor by You in connection with the website.

All tangible Content submitted will become the property of Sponsor. By submitting content to the website, You (and, if an eligible minor, Your parent or legal guardian) grant to Sponsor a universal, perpetual, fully-paid, irrevocable, non-exclusive license to reproduce, prepare derivate works of, distribute, display, exhibit, transmit, broadcast, televise, digitize, otherwise use, and permit others to use and perform throughout the universe the Content in any manner, form, or format now or hereinafter created, including on the internet, and for any purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising or promotion of Sponsor and its services, all without further consent from or payment to You or any third party.

By Submitting a Story/Blog Post, You (and, if an eligible minor, Your parent or legal guardian) agree that the Sponsor may post Your Content, or any part thereof, on www.ArmyStrongStories.com or other websites, but has no obligation to do so. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit the number of people whose Content is posted on www.ArmyStrongStories.com and to remove any Content that has already been posted. You (and, if an eligible minor, Your parent or legal guardian) understands that Your name, voice, likeness, image, biographical data or Story Submission/Blog Post may be posted on www.ArmyStrongStories.com. You (and, if an eligible minor, Your parent or legal guardian) further agree that the Sponsor and its designees shall have the right to modify, edit, adapt, and electronically alter the Content, including Your Story Submission/Blog Post, as well as reproduce it/them, in whole or in part, without compensation or further notice to You, for any purpose, including without limitation, for use on the www.ArmyStrongStories.com, television or other mediums.
